BOSS BRAIN

“Boss Brain” Student Wellbeing Forums

The Student Wellbeing Leaders from each house have been working on developing a mental health education project over the course of the first three terms.

The “Boss Brain” project has been actively supported by Connect Health and Bayside Youth Services.

This planning process culminated in a series of three lunchtime mental health forums over the past few months with invited panels of representatives from Headspace, the Danny Frawley Centre (St Kilda FC), Mental Health First Aid, Bayside Youth Services, Connect Health and the school wellbeing team.

Titled “Let’s Talk About…”, these forums focused on managing stress and anxiety, building mental fitness and being a supportive friend.

I want to congratulate all students who hosted, planned or attended these sessions. This was a genuine “student-led” event that was a valuable experienced for all involved.
