Loving the Library @ MSC

This term we continue to promote important events in the library by creating displays that encourage students to engage with books about the subject or theme. This term we have featured displays on Anzac Day, Reconciliation Week, and IDAHOBIT. Student participation in mindful activities has been great with colouring in sheets focusing on these themes on display in the library.

We continue to add books to our collection with new releases, curriculum-based topics and staff/student requests.  Students can approach one of our team at any time for support in the library. 

The library is open before and after school. At recess and lunchtime, the space is open for schoolwork, study or independent reading.  Students may borrow 4 items on a fortnightly basis and are able to re-borrow if required.  Students may request new items for the library by seeing a member of the library team and adding their request to the shopping list.

We are very happy to continue supporting senior students in the Year 12 independent Quiet Study Room located in the library.
