Persuasive posters

This term we’ve been learning to be persuasive in our writing. One of the persuasive devices that we have studied is ‘The Rule of 3’. For the rule of three to be most persuasive, you have to organise your groups of three words so that ideas get bigger and you end with the best or longest one.

Students in our class made tourism posters using the rule of 3. We wrote 3 noun groups about our dream holiday destination, 3 verbs and 3 descriptive phrases. We used these words to inspire our tourism posters.

We hope that our posters inspire you to think about one day taking a trip to some of our favourite places.

On Wednesday students participated in some guided drawing. They used sharpie, crayon and watercolour to produce beautiful artwork!
