Over the weekend, Mr Jennings was reading the Herald Sun and he came across an article about The Resilience Project. Our school is involved in The Resilience Project too.
It is a great project that supports students to become more resilient.
The Resilience Project focuses on three key pillars proven to cultivate positive emotion; Gratitude, Empathy and Mindfulness (GEM).
The program shares emotionally engaging stories with hundreds of schools, workplaces and communities to help make the topic of mental health more accessible.
The program has a strong focus on Connection, Purpose, Kindness, Emotional Literacy and Physical Health.
It is a whole school approach to teaching and embedding positive mental health strategies to help people become happier and more resilient. The holistic program works with teachers, students, parents and carers to support the wellbeing of young people and develop their future capacity to deal with adversity.
There is a parent hub and below are the links to the parent hub.
