WINTER UNIFORM

All students must be in FULL WINTER UNIFORM commencing today.

GIRLS ~ Tartan Tunic or Navy Tailored Pants, Lemon Long Sleeve Shirt, Tartan Tie, Navy Sweat Shirt (new knitted jumper with emblem available soon), Navy Stockings, Black Shoes (no white soles).

 

BOYS ~ Long Grey Trousers, Lemon Long Sleeve Shirt, Tartan Tie, Navy Sweat Shirt (ne knitted jumper with emblem available soon), Grey Sock (with Royal/Gold stripe), Black Shoes (no white soles).

 

Sports jackets must only be worn on Sports days.

 


GUNNEDAH EISTEDDFOD

This week our school participate in the Gunnedah Eisteddfod. Students are required to wear full winter uniform. Our school choir will be singing in the Small Schools Choir section on Thursday 26 May. The morning session commencing at 9:30am and we are the last section.  A number of students will also be participating in individual and group sections across both the Narrabri and Gunnedah Eisteddfods during the week.

Next Monday 30 May our school will also participate at the Gunnedah Eisteddfod in the Speech & Drama Choral Speech section in the morning session. I wish to congratulate all students in their commitment to rehearsing and teamwork.

All students will participate in both eisteddfod items and staff and students will be travelling by bus to Gunnedah and return on both days. We will be leaving the school at 9am sharp and will return before lunch. Those students who catch the early bus from Gunnedah will have the option to travel out on the bus in the morning and then return to Gunnedah or meet us in front of the Town Hall at 9:30am. Please contact the school before the day to communicate your decision.

A permission note will be on Compass today for both events so please confirm your child/ren's attendence by the due date.


STUDENTS AS AUTHORS WRITING COMPETITION

If any student is planning on entering this Writing Competition, please send in your entry to Mrs Howarth (chowarth@arm.catholic.edu.au) and she will enter it for your child.

Entries need to be to Mrs Howarth by Monday 6th June.

 

 


HELPING KIDS THRIVE ONLINE WEBINAR

Wednesday 8 June 7.30pm

 

This webinar is suitable for parents and carers of children aged 5-12 years.

 

This Term 2 webinar offers tips about how to support young people to socialise, learn and have fun online safely. It explains how to access information, use technology safely and navigate new online platforms.

It will cover:

  • how to talk to young people about online risks on different social media platforms and games  
  • how to help young people develop skills to protect themselves when they are online  
  • where to go for help if things go wrong and how to access mental health support and information through eSafety.  

LOST PROPERTY

We have had several parents communicate that their child has lost uniform items. We stress
