ITALIAN NEWS

 Italian Day  Thursday the 14th of July

This week we discussed outfits for Italian Day. Some ideas we came up with were,

• any clothes that happen to be one or all of the colours on the Italian flag, ie. green, white or red,
• an Italian artist,
• an Italian waiter or chef,
• an Italian racing car driver
• an Italian cyclist from Giro d'Italia,
• an Italian soccer player,
• a character from the story Pinocchio,
• a carnevale character eg. Arlecchino,
• a carnevale mask,
• a gondolier,
• a citizen from Ancient Rome.

Anything goes, as long as an Italian connection can be made. I hope the students have some fun these holidays deciding on an outfit for Italian Day.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

If you have one or two hours to spare on Thursday the 14th of July, your help would be greatly appreciated. Volunteers are needed to help serve the hot chocolates and biscotti to all the students between the hours of 11am and 1:30pm. If you can help please email meor drop into the Italian classroom.
