Deliverer – Binnacle Training

Certificate III Business – BSB30120

Certificate III in Business is delivered as a senior subject via a Third-Party arrangement with Binnacle Training.   Students participate in a range of business activities and projects, including leadership and organisation, customer service, personal management, teamwork and relationships, business technology and financial literacy. 

Upon successful completion, the two-year course will offer a maximum of 8 QCE credits and contribute towards an ATAR, if eligible. 

To compliment learning, community professionals were invited to our classrooms to give real world expertise and insight. 

Year 11

Students are developing competency related to money management skills.  Financial Advisor, Ben Cole, from Fowler’s Group spoke about financial goals and budgeting. 

In addition, Michael Groundwater, Business Manager from Pacific Toyota, spoke with our students about the importance of a healthy credit rating when applying for car finance and managing repayments. 

Thank you to finance professionals in the community, for educating our students about financial matters.   

Year 12 

Entrepreneur facilitator, Kate Montgomery (Young Entrepreneur Project) led a mini workshop for our class.  Students were able to get expert feedback on their business proposals in preparation to pitch their idea to the class.  It was a good networking opportunity, and we thank Kate for visiting St Mary's.
