Borrowing Days  - Please note changes to borrowing days to better fit class timetables.                                           Extra borrowing time is also available in recess and lunch breaks.

                                    MONDAY - Years 2 & 6

                                    WEDNESDAY - Year 3

                                    THURSDAY - Yr 4

                                    FRIDAY - Kinder, Year 1 & Year 5

                                    Tuesday & Friday  2nd break Yrs 2, 3, & 4  

                                    Monday & Wednesday 1st break Years K, 1, 5 & 6. 

Remember to bring your library bags so that books can be taken home.

Kinder - 1-2 books

Yrs 1-6 - 1-4 books, 1 book stays under their desk to read in class and 3 can go home.

Stocktake

I will be stocktaking the non fiction section of the library over the next couple of weeks. Students are asked to return any non fiction books they may have at home to make the stocktake accurate.  Students will still be able to borrow fiction and junior non-fiction books.  Thank you for understanding.

Book Club

Book club has now closed.  I will give orders to students when they arrive in the school.

Premier's Reading Challenge

Premiers Reading Challenges wraps up in August.  Make sure you complete your reading logs.  Once you have completed reading the required number of books parents please make sure you notify me, either via a message through the office or an email via smaadmin@arm.catholic.edu.au  so I can validate the entry.

Getting started with Sora

With Sora, you can get free ebooks and audiobooks from your school.

Step 1 ______________________________________________________

Install the Sora app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, or go to soraapp.com.

Step 2______________________________________________________

In Sora, click on I have a setup code, then sign in.

Note: If you need your sign-in information (like an ID, username, or password), it is the same one you use to log into your chromebook.

The “setup” code is cenetau

Sign into your School – Select your school - ACEN 

Step 3______________________________________________________

Browse the 

 tab and borrow a book. Your book will open so you can start reading right away.

Step 4______________________________________________________

Close the book and go to 

see all your books (including assignments). From there, you can:

• Select Open book or Open audiobook to read or listen to the book.
• Select Options to renew or return the book, see your notes and highlights, and more.
