Saints Mary and Joseph Cathedral Parish

Saints Mary and Joseph Cathedral Parish Weekend Mass Times:

Saturday 9 am & 6 pm

Sunday - 8 am, 10 am and 5.30 pm

FAMILY / YOUTH MASS SUNDAY 26TH JUNE 5:30PM

St Mary's School will host the Mass on Sunday at 5:30pm. All families are invited to attend and celebrate with the Parish.

Mini Vinnies & interested children are invited to sing at Mass. Please sit near the organ on the left hand side of the Cathedral. 

The school will provide Pizza outside after Mass. 

Marriage and Family Week  - Term 2 Week 9

The theme for Marriage and Family Week is: “Family love: a vocation and a path to holiness” intends to highlight family love as a vocation and as a way of holiness, so as to understand and share the profound and salvific meaning of family relationships in daily life”.   

Parish/Class Masses

We invite parents and friends to join our class groups for Parish Mass at 9am on the following dates - 

• Friday 1st July 2022 - Kindergarten - Year 6 NAIDOC Week Mass Celebration 

Year 6 RE Test 

Year 6 students will complete the Yr 6 RE Test Friday 24th June.  We wish them all the very best.

Priestly Ordination of Deacon Peterpaul

On Wednesday 29 June, Deacon Peterpaul, will be ordained into the priesthood. Our Year 5 & 6  students will be attending the ordination in the Cathedral.

We wish Deacon Peterpaul all the very best.

May Peterpaul receive the blessings of the Lord as he becomes a priest in our Diocese.

Oh Lord Jesus Christ, 

We come before You today, 

We thank You for the gift of Your Holy Body and Blood through which we get strengthened body, soul and mind. 

We offer You our undivided love and service to our brothers and sisters as it is Your will.

We pray this in the Name of the Father, and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
