What a lovely day we were blessed with last Wednesday. The sun was shining, the children's participation was outstanding and the atmosphere was buzzing with excitement and the day was well organised.
A very big thank you to our Staff, parents and O'Connor for all the work that made the carnival so successful & enjoyable. Congratulations Mr Garraud on a well organised carnival.
You may be aware that both the Public and Catholic school staff members will be taking industrial action together. This will be taking place on Thursday 30th June. St Mary's will be open, however we will only be offering minimal supervision to students, no lessons will be taught on Thursday, due to the impact of the industrial action.
It is quite unbelievable that we have almost finished Term 2. The term has certainly passed quickly!
During the last week teachers have been busily completing student reports. The Leadership Team have been busy reading reports. I have read over all the children's reports and I am very impressed with their commitment to learning, it is a credit to all involved.
Thank you children, teachers and parents for all of your work this term. It is the partnership between home and school that ensures we achieve the hopes and dreams for our children. When your receive your child's report please celebrate the achievements they have made throughout the first half of the 2022 Academic Year.
I would like to wish everyone a restful and healthy holiday and see you all for the start of Term 3 on Monday 18th July.
Reports will be sent home electronically via the Compass parent portal on Monday, 27th June. If you have any questions and would like to have a meeting with your child's teacher, please contact the School Office (67724441) to arrange a suitable time during Week 10.
