Dear Parents and Carers,

On a personal note, it was lovely to make so many connections last week, meeting with the School Council, enjoying the Junior School Performance Concert and attending the Year 9 parents gathering. So many happy faces and positive energy despite the cold weather.

Trivia Night 

5 August at Orange Function Centre

Save the date and gather a group together as tickets will go on sale soon for the Trivia Night. We are seeking donations for auction and items for raffles – artwork, sporting memorabilia, farm produce etc. Please send through your ideas or offers of donation to Ned Sweetapple via pandfsecretary@kws.nsw.edu.au.

P&F Junior School Reading Fundraiser

This Reading Fundraiser is a P&F initiative to promote literacy in the Junior School and Pre-Kinder and raise funds towards the Performance Theatre. We hope your children enjoy reading some books as we move into Winter.

Year 11 Parents' Lunch

Year 11 parents met for a casual lunch on 29 May at the Robin Hood Hotel. A wonderful time was had by all those able to attend. Thank you to the year group representatives Hollie Durkin, Chrissie Baldwinson and Susie Maslin for organising this evening.

Year 8 Parents' Get Together

Year 8 parents enjoyed an evening at the Carriers Arms on Friday 3rd June. It was a wonderful opportunity to meet new families and reacquaint with old friends. We sincerely thank Phoebe Gulliver and Alison Bennett for organising this event.

Year 9 Parents' Evening

Year 9 parents gathered at Parrot Distillery on Saturday 4th June. It was well attended by parents of both day students and boarders. A lovely venue with even better company! We appreciate Pip Smith volunteering to organise this amazing evening.

Meeting with the School Council

The P&F Executive were invited to present at the School Council meeting on 31 May. The President, Sarah Glover, covered the P&F's focus on “Connecting our Community”, our work towards effecting positive cultural change, how we are improving transparency and a summary of fundraising efforts.

The P&F Executive will meet this evening to discuss Fundraising and Event planning for the remainder of 2022 and beyond, and to reflect on major tasks completed this year. Click here for a copy of the Agenda.
