What a wonderful night of music! A showcase of music and an array of talent with over 70 students performing.  Whether it was for the very first time, or a little bit of performance experience, it was great to see every single one of them thrive on the stage.

The College Jazz Ensemble opened the evening with a groovy jazz number and before we knew it, there was live music in 5 venues across the college.

The night couldn’t have been a success without our Music Staff but especially our amazing Instrumental Music Teachers who guided each student in their group and individual performances on the night.

After talking to many of our students, they can’t wait for the next opportunity to perform!

The St Bede’s College – Bentleigh East Campus, Winter Music Concert was a brilliant experience for all of the young men involved. Not only was it an incredible opportunity that included some first-time performing experiences, but it was an opportunity that gave at-hand real-life experience for students interested in backstage management.

Featuring almost thirty students, there was a variety of performances, including the debut of the St Bede’s College, Orchestra and Jazz Band. It was an extremely fun concert that included not only the wonderful talents of students and staff singing Seasons of Love together, but the wonderful audience singing along to Gimme, Gimme, Gimme by one of our year nine Music Performance groups.

Congratulations to all the young men who performed solo, played a solo or performed in an ensemble for a very large live audience on Tuesday the 14th of June. You have not only debuted your extreme talents but have mustered up all of your courage and expressed what you love most of all – performing.
