Literacy and Numeracy Instructional Models

These two models guide the effective teaching and learning of both Literacy and Numeracy for all children. These documents are underpinned by the Victorian Curriculum and shape the learning for whole class focus, small group explicit teaching and individual targeted teaching, depending on learning need for students. Learning needs are determined by ongoing assessment and personalised goals are developed to support learning achievement.

 

Term Planners

Documentation outlining the curriculum areas, learning focus and broad tasks has been developed by all year levels across the school. The purpose of this document is to provide families with a snapshot of the learning to be addressed throughout Term Three. Families will receive this information via SeeSaw (F-2) or Showbie (Years 3-6).

Learning Celebrations

Celebrations and samples of your child/ren's learning will be shared with you every fortnight. We value our connections to home, and our learning partnerships with families, and therefore showcasing a sample of learning on a regular basis allows stronger learning connections. We hope that receiving these learning celebrations provides all of our families with an opportunity to discuss learning and celebrate achievement.
