Term 3  Week 6

BOOK WEEK

It was amazing to see that the annual LNPS Book Week Parade was a raging success! I loved seeing everyone's fantastic costumes, the amount of effort and thought that went behind each ensemble was outstanding. I especially enjoyed watching the Reception students enjoy their first ever Book Week, as well as the Year 7 students who enjoyed their final one for primary school! Well done to all year levels who celebrated a very fun and creative day with their peers, showcasing such diverse imagination and originality.

PRE-LOVED BOOK SALE

Thank you to all the families that donated their pre-loved books to our book sale. We were very impressed to see the extensive amount of books brought in for browsing. It was excellent that so many children were excited to purchase books with their own money, evoking a sense of independence in their personal reading journeys. Holding a book sale during Book Week was a brilliant way to bring the school community together in a love for finding new homes for those special books we once cherished.

PREMIER’S READING CHALLENGE

There are only a few days left to hand in completed Premier's Reading Challenge sheets to the library. Please ensure that all books are signed off by an adult before handing in your sheet.
