GRANDPARENTS MORNING TEA
A super huge thank you to the SFS PFA who put together a lovely morning tea for all the grandparents in the community room.

Keep collecting those empty bread bags
Any brand is accepted
Place them into your house colour boxes in the corridor.
The more bags we can collect the more sport’s equipment our school will receive.

Our Ms Readathon competition has kicked off this week starting with our Week 1 – Designing yourself as a book character, we have had some amazing designs, it’s going to be hard to pick a winner but here are some of the amazing entries we have had.

We will be reading as many books as we can during August to raise funds to fund vital support services for people living with Multiple Sclerosis

Father’s Day Annual Breakfast at SFS
Friday 2nd September 2022
Make sure you take the morning off and come and celebrate Father’s Day with a yummy breakfast with your Children
We would love to see as many fathers and carers as possible.
A reminder that we will also be holding our Annual Father’s Day Stall so if you can help we would love to have you, it’s a great day of fun shopping with the kids, If you are interested, please contact Courtney on sfspfa@sfslynbrook.catholic.edu.au
A friendly reminder a WWCC is required.
Once again, we will be calling on Donations for our Annual Father’s Day Raffle – so if you have a small business and would like some FREE advertising, please feel free to donate as we will advertise your business till the end of Term, all donations can be left at the office.
It would be amazing if every family could donate a small item so that our Special Fathers can take home an amazing prize, we would appreciate any items that are brand new.
Socks, chocolates, mugs or even wine are always a great idea!

Something that is required of all volunteers and helpers at SFS is a valid Working With Children Check (wwcc). These checks are very easy to apply for, and free for volunteers. We love having parent helpers with all of our Parents and Friends events, and the children love seeing their parents at schoolYou can go here https://www.workingwithchildren.vic.gov.au/individuals/applicants/how-to-apply to apply.You will need to fill in your details (we suggest adding St Francis de Sales Primary School in as your volunteer location), supply them with proof of ID and then verify these in person at an Australia Post outlet. At the post office they will take your photo for your WWCC card. Until your card arrives you will be given a slip from the post office that can be used.Once you have your WWCC complete please ensure you lodge the details with the school through admin@sfslynbrook.catholic.edu.au

Second Hand Uniform Shop
The second hand uniform shop was open this morning in conjunction with morning tea. It is always a great opportunity to meet other people from the school community whilst picking up a bargain.
We are always looking for school uniform donations, especially in bigger sizes. Please drop any washed donations to the office.
