Middle School

From the Head of Middle School

Over the past week I have been out and about watching sporting fixtures, watching our students engage with the artist in residence program and helped support students involved in upcoming charity events. The benefits of committing to these pursuits are well known to improve our health. According to the Act, Belong Commit website, there is a significant benefit from joining in with new and varied activities. They assist with mental health, physical health, social health, spiritual well-being and cultural development. People who act, belong and commit have more meaning and purpose in their life. In particular, enjoying new activities and belonging to a group provide us with mental health benefits that are transferred to other areas of our life, such as relationships and school or work. If you would like any further  information about Act, Belong Commit you can look at their website here.
