Book Week Parade

Our annual Book Week Parade will take place on Monday 22nd August at 9:00 am. This year we will be able to have a proper parade after two years of online parades!

The children are invited to come to school dressed as a character from a favourite book or they might like to dress according to the theme. Children will parade their costumes at morning assembly in the hall. 

If your child’s costume is not suitable to be worn all day, please make sure they bring a change of clothes. Toddlers (and parents!) are welcome to join us in the parade.

Author Visit

On Thursday 25th August at 2:15 pm: Gus Gordon (author/illustrator) will visit our school and conduct a session with all the children in Prep to Year 6. We will explore some of Gus' books over the next few weeks and we look forward to him sharing his writing and illustrating tips.

Purchasing Gus Gordon's Books

If you are interested in purchasing any signed copies of Gus' books  I have attached a link below. Families place their orders online through The Little Bookroom. Just follow the instructions on the flyer and then the books will be delivered to the school and distributed to the children.
