Garden Club 

We are very lucky at OLHC to have a choice in recess/lunchtime activities. We have Passive Play fortnightly on Thursday lunchtimes, Lego Club on Tuesdays from 1:30 - 2:00pm, and the library is open during Wednesday lunchtimes for quiet activities. 

For the first time since before COVID, the Garden Club has returned on Mondays at recess. Run by our very knowledgeable LSO, Shelley, children from all year levels are invited to help care for the school's vegetable and indigenous gardens.

At our first session this Monday, we were blessed with a very sunny day which made being in the garden all the more enjoyable. 15 children from across the year levels, joined Shellie to undertake the mammoth task of weeding the Indigenous Garden.

If any parents, who have a working with children check, would love to come and work in the garden, please contact Barb Cumming. The group runs Mondays 11:10 - 11:40, weather-dependent.
