2019 NAPLAN Results

This week the school received individual student reports for those students who completed the NAPLAN testing in May this year.  NAPLAN tests the sort of skills that are essential for every child to have in order to progress through school and life such as reading, writing, spelling, grammar and numeracy.  It is important to remember that NAPLAN is not about passing or failing, it is about assessing learning progress.  At the classroom level it is one of a number of important tools used by teachers to measure student progress.

From today individual reports will be sent home in envelopes with Year 3, 5, 7 & 9 students who took part in the tests.  Please contact the school if you have any questions relating to the NAPLAN reporting process or you do not receive a report in the coming days.
