The Director's Blog -                            Getting to Know You

Have you ever experienced a time where a lyric from a song has played over and over again in your head?  I adore watching classic musical films such as, 'My Fair Lady', 'Singin in the Rain', 'Wizard of Oz' and 'Mary Poppins'.  However, my all time favourite would be 'The Sound of Music',  with the treasured Julie Andrews who has put into words how my first few weeks on staff has felt at Good Shepherd Lutheran Primary School.  

"Gettin' to know you,

Gettin' to feel free and easy.

When I am with you,

Gettin' to know what to say.

Haven't you noticed,

Suddenly I'm bright and breezy,

Because of all the beautiful and new

Things I'm learning about you

Day by day."

I am confident that as we continue to roll out updates about the CURIOSITY Early Learning Centre that we will have many opportunities to get to know each other and see the beautiful story that God is writing with the lives of our families and the young citizens that will call Curiosity  their safe place.  A place where they will be loved and cared for, a place where wonder and curiosity abounds and expressions of creativity are endless.

It is an honour to be your Director and I look forward to meeting you and joining you on this wonderful journey.
