Sandhurst Intermediate Netball

On the 23rd of April, a group of year 9 and 10 netballers, along with Mrs Hamilton, Miss Speed, Mrs Fisher and myself, made our way to the Bendigo Stadium to compete in the Sandhurst Intermediate Netball Competition. Both teams started the day well and improved as the day went by.

The A team, coached by Mrs Fisher, made the grand final and had a tight game against CMC but went down by 3 goals. This is the closest any Girton team has come to CMC in recent years. We congratulate these girls on their fantastic achievement. 

The B team, coached by myself, made the semi-final but unfortunately lost to a strong CMC side. We are incredibly proud of this team and how well they listened and took on advice throughout the day.​
