Thanks so much to everyone who has purchased books through the Scholastic Book Club. Your books should be here within 4 weeks and will be distributed to your child’s classroom as soon as they arrive. The next Book Club will be early in Term 3.
The Book Fair will be set up in the Library from Wednesday 16th June to Wednesday 23rd June. Students will visit the Book Fair during their library time, and will make a note of the books they like on a WISH list. It is only a WISH list, not a “have to purchase” list. Books may be purchased after school until 4:00pm or on Parent / Student / Teacher interview day from 11:00am – 7:00pm. More details closer to the date.
If any parents would like to volunteer and spend some time in the library, I would love to see you. There are many tasks that need to be done including shelving, borrowing, returning, assisting students to find books that suit them, and setting up displays. If you are interested, and can spare an hour or two, please send me an email – debra.packham@education.vic.gov.au
