5/6JC -Digital Technology 

5/6JC are currently looking at the Sacrament of Reconciliation in Religion. We have learnt about the three steps we take in order to gain forgiveness, which are contrition, confession and satisfaction. The students have discussed and researched new words that have come up and what the act of confession looks like and sounds like. As seniors, they have been asked to present their learnings and findings through the digital technology platform - Jamboard. Each student has recorded all their thinking and understanding about the sacrament of Reconciliation on post-it notes and expressed it as a presentation piece. Here are some of the key points 5/6JC has learnt as well as some final Jamboards:

Tom - The priest is not allowed to share my confession with anyone else which I learnt means confidential 

Menat - I learnt that God gave his authority to Jesus, who soon passed it down to the apostles, who passed it onto all priests

Rida - People used to be publicly shamed for their sins but now people can be forgiven privately at the Church
