Living at Lockington

As our students continue their remote learning journey from home with the amazing support of the MITS teachers the boarding staff are also staying connected. 

Each boarding coordinator has a small tutor group of students who they connect with each week. These conversations, messages and face time interactions are providing the students with extra support as they stay engaged with the MITS program from their homes and local schools.

Rhiannan and Kelly from the Alumni Boarding House have made two trips to Gippsland recently to ensure the Alumni students in Sale and Bairnsdale have all that they need to successfully complete their online learning with their Melbourne Partner Schools.

Boarding staff have been meeting weekly over Zoom and completing relevant Professional Development including mental health modules, COVID-19 safety training and a refresher on policies and procedures within the boarding house.
