Year 7 ‘Get Court’ Netball Carnival
On Friday 17 November, two Year 7 netball teams participated in the ‘Get Court’ Netball Carnival at Priceline Stadium. It was a wet and windy day but the students didn’t let this get them down, competing with enthusiasm and fantastic sportsmanship. The girls’ team struggled with the high level of competition and finished with one win. They boys’ team managed an impressive 5 out of 6 wins. We would like to thank our Year 10 team managers and umpires; Kayla Fechner, Emily Hurcombe, Nicole Overall and Lara Fahey. A big thank you also goes to our coach and bus driver Mr Harten.

Student Achievement
Alison Hansen (Year 8) was selected for the State Level 7 Gymnastics team and competed in Geelong, Victoria on Friday 10 November at the Trans Bass Challenge. The South Australian Gymnastics team finished 2nd overall, and Alison won an individual bronze medal for vault against stiff interstate competition!
