Gala Day
Congratulations to all the students who participated in the annual Diocesan Gala Day in Soccer, League & Netball in Inverell last Friday. This a major event on the sporting calendar with teams coming from over 10 schools across the Diocese and hosted by Holy Trinity School teachers. Over 150 of our students from Year 3-6 were given the opportunity to play in a team. All the teams played well, with many students gaining new skills. Both students and teaching staff put in a lot of effort into training and preparations leading up to the day. Thank you to parents and to our Secondary PASS students for helping with umpiring, refereeing and managing teams throughout the day. A special thanks also to students from Inverell High School and MacIntyre High School who were umpiring and refereeing at all the venues. Our Senior League side was runner-up, Junior Soccer and League sides were first overall and our Junior Netball side was runner-up on the day.
