2017 St James Athletics Carnival

Our 2017 School Athletics Carnival will be held on Wednesday 21st June 2017. The carnival will be held at Duncan McKinnon Athletics Track (corner North Rd and Murrumbeena Road, Murrumbeena), beginning at 9.30am. The initial buses will depart St James at 8:50am, therefore the students in Years 3-6 are required to be at school by 8:30am that day.  The Junior Carnival (Prep – Year 2) will commence at approximately 11.30am and the children will be transported by bus from school at approximately 11.00am. The Carnival will finish at approximately 2.45pm. All students in Prep to Year 6 will be participating in the carnival. 

Please remember on the day:

Clothing 

Your child will need to wear their house colour T-shirt and school PE uniform. Please ensure they have their jacket and tracksuit pants in case of cooler weather. 

Food and Water 

Please ensure your child has plenty of food (healthy food choices) and water for the day. 

Safety Pin – for ribbons 

Students will need to have a safety pin attached to their sports top for ribbons. 

Parent spectators 

The grandstand area will be open for parent spectators. For safety reasons, we ask spectators not to come on to the track.

Beachside Cross Country Carnival

Congratulations to the students who competed in the Beachside Cross Country Carnival last Friday, they all did a great job representing

St James.   Well done!
