Principal's News

Dear Families,

Over the past few weeks we have celebrated a number of milestone events for our community, particularly the Year 12 students and their families. The completion of classes after 13 years of education is a significant rite of passage. There has been much cause for celebration and joy with the Year 12 Breakfast and the Graduation Mass and Ceremony at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, final College assembly including farewell to Year 12 and the handover of leadership to the Year 11 cohort as well as Sydfest.

The Graduation Mass and Graduation Ceremony was a truly beautiful and moving occasion. Mass, celebrated by Father John O'Reilly, was attended by almost 2000 staff, parents and students. The Graduation Ceremony culminated in the presentation of a number of awards including the College’s two most prestigious awards which are presented to one student each year – the School Spirit Award and the Corpus Christi Award. Additionally, at the Final College Assembly for 2017, a number of key awards were presented including the College Captains Award. I take this opportunity, on behalf of our entire Catholic Regional College community to recognise and congratulate the award recipients.

This individual has shown great dedication, enthusiasm and compassion towards members of the college community. This individual has shown great sportsmanship in cluster sports and activities, and have shown their talent in photography, capturing the college events and memories. They have participated in school events, even lending their voice in the school choir. She has shown perseverance and dedication in her studies and has lived the values and pride of the Dunlop Cluster.
