Oodgeroo Community Day 2017

A riot of colour, including green, captured the Pop Culture theme at the Oodgeroo Community Day on 3rd March. Diverse costumes and group outfits provided a talking point for students. Costume winners were:

Juniors - Chase Gladman and Xya-Lilly McLauchlan

Seniors - Nick Anderson/Wal Majok and Brianna Withers

Group Outfit - Rubik Cubes (10 senior students!)

Students supported the day with purchases of donated cakes/slices, drinks and a barbeque lunch, wearing mufti for a gold coin donation and through entry to the Dance Party. The Dance Party was the most successful one yet in the hall, with the images of the dance floor participants displayed on the big screen.

Special thanks to students and staff who contributed to the day’s success. Over $1,500 profit will be distributed to support PLAN Australia with a teenage boy’s family in Bolivia, ErinEarth and Catholic Missions.
