Letter from Archbishop
Christopher Prowse & Principal's Message
Hello everyone,
This week I am in Brisbane working with principal and Diocesan leaders from around Australia. The focus is on better school and system leadership to improve our schools. In May this group travels to New York and Ontario to work with school and system leaders. At Kildare, we pay a lot of attention to what is happening in Ontario and much of our professional reading and direction comes from a few Ontario-based experts and researchers. The CSO is supporting this trip and my work is to make this opportunity translate into further improvement for the College.
Next Monday we begin the Year 7 enrolment process for 2018. We have an Open Night with a BBQ, tours and presentation. Please encourage anyone you know who is in Year 6, or who has a son or daughter in Year 6, to come along to our Open Night.
Attached is a letter and Lenten message from Archbishop Prowse, Bishop of Canberra Goulburn Diocese and Apostolic Administrator of the Diocese of Wagga Wagga. The letter follows on from Archbishop's appearance at the Royal Commission and includes his personal response and hopes for the future. Please take the time to read Archbishop Prowse’s letter to us.
All the best
