Sleep masks/blindfolds wanted:

If you have any sleep masks or blindfolds (similar to below) hanging around at home that are no longer needed, P.E. is looking to get as many as possible. If you do have any, can you kindly drop them into the P.E. office. Thank you

Interhouse Athletics:

A huge congratulations to all those who took part in last week’s Interhouse Athletics! All participants did a terrific job and scored loads of points for their house. Results are currently being processed and we look forward to seeing who will represent the school at the next round and which house comes out on top. The winning house will be announced at the last assembly of the term and those progressing through to the next round will be notified via a Compass email.

A huge thank you to all the wonderful staff, parents, Fed Uni students and student helpers who chipped in on the day to make it such a success. A special shout out to Belinda, Eliza, Irene, Jacki, Paddy, Shirley and Dennis for their amazing support and work.

Afterschool Netball:

Buninyong Primary School will again be entering team/s into the Darroch Afterschool Netball Competition at Llanberris Netball Stadium. These will be run on Tuesday nights (times as per competition draw) in Term 2 (commencing 5 May) and is a participation competition only (i.e. there are no finals). We expect there will be another season in Term 3/4 but further information will be passed on to families at a later date.

Grade 3-6 students interested in joining a team will need to register via this form and make payment in cash to the office before 10 March, 2020. Please note that we will endeavour to include all interested students (refunds will be given to those not placed in a team). Teams will be decided by Narelle Sullivan and Claire Morris and will be based around the age groups of Grade 3/4 and Grade 5/6.

The cost is estimated to be around $55 (+ VNA if required) and will need to be paid in cash to the office before 10 March, 2020. Uniform will be provided this year and the hire of these is included in the cost. Please note that own transport to and from games will be required each week. This will not be a staffed event and we will be relying on parental assistance at the game to coach and score.

We will be looking for interested parents to coach and score each week. Obviously it would be great to have the same person however a roster will be set up in the event this is not possible. Please indicate your ability to assist on the registration form.
