On June 5th 2019, St. Joseph’s College undertook our Pastoral Care and Wellbeing Review. Thank you to all parents and families who provided valuable feedback for this process and beyond.
Welcome Lori!
This week we have welcomed our new Social Worker, Lori Parmley, to St. Joseph’s College. We are excited to welcome Lori to our Wellbeing Team and our school.
Student Voice and Empowerment Education
Learning Mentor Groups and House Assemblies have had a student voice and empowerment focus, providing resources, information, clips and supports to engage and educate students regarding substance abuse and related issues.
There is some fantastic information on our SchoolTV site aimed at parents, please visit this and continue the positive conversations with your students.
Boys to Men Group
6-8 week personal development for selected Year 7's and 8's celebrated their final session last week. Thank you Francis for your work and efforts with this program. There will be new group programs commencing Term 3.
School TV Resource
Today parents face a multitude of modern day challenges in raising happy, well and resilient young people. Whilst there is a great deal of information available, this can often be confusing and overwhelming for parents looking for guidance.
SchoolTV addresses this as a new online resource designed to empower you as parents with credible and sound information with realistic, practical ongoing support strategies.
SchoolTV enables our school community to access a variety of topics, fact sheets and expert advice.
