Congratulations Award Winners!

Congratulations to our Year 11 and Year 12 VET and VCAL students, Heidi Butler, Lachlan Mills, Alex Mrakov, Jack Stevens and Lawrie Certoma who were successful in obtaining a Hume Whittlesea VET, VCAL or School Based Apprenticeship and Traineeship Award for their vocational study achievements undertaken in 2017. The Awards Ceremony was held at Aitken College on the evening of Tuesday 21 November. VET Music students Brianna Ceniti and Roberto Bermejo provided the entertainment for the ceremony and beautifully sang two songs.

The Hume Whittlesea Local Learning Employment Network (HWLLEN) recognise and award students excelling in vocational education in our local schools. The VET, VCAL and SBAT Awards are proudly supported by Hume City Council, the City of Whittlesea and the Hume and Whittlesea Youth Commitments.

The students received a Student Achievement Award or a Student Encouragement Award and all students were highly recommended by their VCAL and VET teachers for the award. Heidi, Lachlan, Alex, Jack and Lawrie have all worked very hard this year to achieve their goals and have remained focused and dedicated to their career aspirations.
