End Of Semester Reports

Parents of students from Prep to Year 11 will be issued an end of semester report, which can be accessed via the Community Portal from 4.00pm on Wednesday 13 December. The report is intended as a summary of student achievement in all subjects throughout Semester 2.

Further details about individual assessment tasks, including assessment criteria and comments about the progress a student is making and areas for further improvement, can be found on My Aitken in the “Marks and Feedback” section for each of your children.

Campion Book Collection

Families who have elected to collect their Campion book orders from the College can do so on Wednesday 17 January 2018 between 8.30am - 12.30pm and from 1.00pm - 5.00pm, in Common Room 1 in the Senior School building. Any questions about book orders should be addressed in the first instance to Campion on 1300 433 982.

iPad Onboarding

Students entering Year 7 in 2018 will need to visit the school with their iPad on any of the following times, in order to set up their Aitken College WIFI access, email accounts, security certificates and digital textbooks. We will have a team of IT specialists on hand to assist with the process, which should only take about 15 minutes. Having their iPads set up and ready to use on Day 1 of Year 7 will, we hope, ensure that some of the inevitable first-day anxieties are minimised so students can focus on getting to know their teachers and classmates.

Students in all other year levels will be given instructions on how to set up their iPads for 2018, WIFI access and how to download their digital books, in class on the first day of school.

We will also have a number of IT technicians available to help students overcome any IT problems in the first week of school – details on how to access this IT help will be advertised to students via their Homeroom teachers.
