F-6 Classroom Music

BPS CHRISTMAS CAROLS EVENING
Wednesday 18th December, 6.00pm
What better way to celebrate the end of 2019 than hearing our children’s voices lifted up in song?! This event will showcase every F-6 student as they perform two musical items with their year level. There will be singing, instruments, dancing, and live music from the School Band (and maybe even from some of the teachers….) The lead-up to Christmas can be very busy so we please ask that you mark this event in your diaries now - we’d love to see as many BPS families in attendance joining in on the frivolity of the evening!
Carols to begin at 6.00pm (to be confirmed). Families are welcome to set up their picnic rugs / chairs on the oval from 5.00pm. More details soon :)
Practising Christmas Carols
All students are to memorise their songs for the BPS Carols Evening on 18 December.
All Grade 1-6 students have their Christmas Carols (lyrics, vocal tracks and instrumental tracks) in their Showbie Music Folder. Foundation students should have received a hard copy of their song lyrics - please ask your child’s teacher for a copy if you don’t have one. Parents, please encourage your children to read & / or sing their carols regularly at home as part of their Music Homework. Thankyou!
Yours in harmony,
Lisa Shacklock
