From the Principal's desk

Our Father's Day breakfast was a huge success this year and it was great to see so many fathers, grandfathers, and other important male figures in children's lives, attending the breakfast. Below I have captured some of these special moments and many more photographs are available on the school facebook page. Thank you to our Parents and Friends for preparing all the gifts for the children and also organising the raffle. And it could not be a breakfast with out the staff helpers preparing and cooking the breakfast. So thank you everyone!

This week the NAPLAN results have been released to schools and we will be sending these home with the Year 3 and Year 5 students next week. Overall our school has achieved outstanding results in all our Year 3 tests and has shown huge improvement in our Year 5 Writing and Numeracy. In the next newsletter I will elaborate further on this data after sharing it with the school council on Monday night.

Also just a reminder to everyone, that all official school notices, excursions, newsletters and updates are now pushed out through Compass and we primarily use our Facebook page to share with parents images of their children learning. If you need some assistance with Compass please do not hesitate to contact the office for support.
