 Year 7 Orientation Day 

On Tuesday 6th December we welcomed our 2023 Year 7 students to the College for their Orientation Day. They got to meet some of their teachers, were put into their classes for Year 7, and participated in a number of activities around the College. Year 7s commence on Tuesday 31st January 2023!

Beau Vernon Visit

Beau Vernon came to speak to our senior students yesterday about resilience and mental health. In 2012, a 23-year-old Beau, while playing a game of football, sustained an injury that left him with C5-C6 quadriplegia. He spent 8 months in the hospital and now lives his life in a wheelchair. He lives a normal happy life (in a chair) and is very active with the support of his family and travels around providing coaching, mentoring, mental health and disability awareness. We are very grateful to Beau for sharing his story with our students!

Year 7 Science

7B modeled the phases of the moon with Oreos in their last Science class of 2022! 

Junior Debating 

Junior debating learning the ropes at Trafalgar today and doing the College proud. Three debates in one day for both teams!!

Biology

Our Unit 3 and 4 Biology students have been learning about the Transcription and Translation of proteins. They modeled the process using lollies and chocolate!
