“THE RACE THAT STOPS THE NATION”
Our performance “The Race That Stops the Nation” was a performance by our class 7C2. This performance explored how the Melbourne Cup has good sides and bad sides to it. All our directors and tech crew tried so hard and with only little time to prepare it looked awesome. The entire class worked so hard on it, and everyone was impressed with the result. We all worked well together, and it showed in our performance.

“BOGAN TEARS”
Bogan Tears” by 7L1 is a play about Anzac Day. A couple of Aussie bogans, disrespecting the day and calling it useless. They will soon see the bravery, strength and determination these soldiers had. The five bogans; Brett, Sheila, Craig, Shane and Lisa travel back to 1915 when the Gallipoli battle started. While fighting, their mate, Brett dies. When they all eventually get back to modern time, they realize the importance of remembering every soldier who sacrificed their own lives for Australia.
Our favorite part of the performance was the curtain call & bar scenes with all the other bogans. It was fun to create a scene where everyone could enjoy their time on stage. The curtain call was especially our favourite as it is the only scene where our whole class was visible.
