CyberTaipan Young Women’s Career Tour

Congratulations to Cayenne Lim of Year 10 who has been selected to attend a 4-day tour to Canberra looking at careers in the cybersecurity field. Cayenne was one of our CyberTaipan team that competed earlier this year. This event is sponsored by the CSIRO, the Australian Signals Directorate and Northrop Grumman. It should be an exciting time.

Introducing George

This robot was built by students in the STEAM Robotics and Engineering subject. It moves in any direction, its head turns and one arm lifts up. A very impressive achievement.

The kit this robot was constructed from is a FIRST Tech Challenge kit. FTC is the next level robot competition from Lego League. MGC is hoping to get an FTC team happening in 2023. Stay tuned for more information

As the year winds to a close, I want to thank all of the Captains – Min, Christine, Vivien and Mithuna as well as all the members of the STEAM Team. We have entered lots of competitions, had lots of fun and laughs and learned many new things!
