CAREERS MEETINGS

Meetings with Ms Dimasi will be scheduled throughout Term 1and into Term 2 for all Year 11 and 12 students.

This meeting is intended to map out your future pathways beyond the college to ensure you are equipped with the information required to make the best individual decision to meet your goals.

If you are unsure of the direction you wish to take, this meeting is all the more important.

You will receive an email with a calendar invite – usually during an academe period. This meeting is not optional.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Work experience is the short-term placement of students with employers to provide insights into the industry and the workplace in which they are located. Students are encouraged to organise their own work experience placement early so that they have the greatest chance of securing their place of choice.

It provides students with the valuable opportunity to:

  • Develop employability skills.
  • Explore possible career options.
  • Understand employer expectations.
  • Increase their self-understanding, maturity, independence, and self-confidence.

Term One School Holidays - Final day to return work experience arrangement form Friday, March 17.
