Choir Excursion

On Thursday, the15th of June, the BNPS choir walked to the BLOC hall for a visit with the Ballarat North branch of the Sing Australia choir. Conductor Marilyn Kent lead us through some warm ups and songs which we sang together. The BNPS students performed two of our songs, and were then treated to the Sing Australia choir performing for us.

A wonderful morning was had by all. I would like to extend a huge ‘thank you’ to Marilyn Kent, Jane Nice and the members of Sing Australia for their warm welcome and kindness. I would also like to thank Pauline, Noel, Trent, Sam, Mon and Mr Garner who accompanied us on our adventure. They ensured that we arrived safely, and even joined in with some singing! 

Finally, I would like to thank the BNPS choir for their excellent behaviour and manners, their dedication to practice each week, and the joy that their voices bring to so many.

We can’t wait to go again next year.
