During the last two weeks, Grade ¾ students went on an excursion to Bounce. Firstly, to celebrate a successful semester of learning. Secondly, to build resilience and discuss character strengths they displayed during their time at Bounce and thirdly, to connect the event with writing a recount. Students and teachers alike enjoyed the day. I think it is fair to say everyone slept well. If you have the opportunity to, ask your child what character strengths they displayed at Bounce.

Here are some of our students’ strengths:

Willow – I was courageous because I wanted to reach the button for the first time.

Isaiah – I was brave because I jumped off the platform.

Aidee – I was persistent because I kept persisting to get to the top green pole.

Lenix – I was encouraging because I was supporting my friend.
