Principal's Message

New Adventure and a huge Thank You

Natalie Wynne has purchased a new house in Rosebud and will therefore be moving at the end of Term 2. While this is great news for Natalie and her family, it is a loss for our Rollins community. Natalie has been part of our team for about 12 years and during this time she has made a huge contribution to many students in our community. Despite this happening relatively quickly, Natalie intended to complete this year at Rollins even though it meant a huge travelling commitment. Luckily for her, she has just secured a teacher job very close to her new house. We congratulate Natalie on this appointment and know that she will continue to provide the students in her care with the best possible educational support. Thank you so much Natalie for your long term commitment to the students at Rollins.

This has left a 2-day vacancy in the grade 2 area which we are currently in the process of filling. We thank Natalie for all her work and dedication and wish her and her family the best of luck as they undertake this new adventure.

Semester 1 Reports

Semester 2 reports went live on Wednesday 14th June.  Please read carefully and have any questions you wish to discuss ready when interviews are conducted.

Parent Teacher interviews

Reminder that Parent /Teacher interviews will be held on Monday 19th June for students in Prep, Grade 3,4,5 and 6. Please make sure you have booked a time slot on COMPASS. The interviews can be via phone or in person. It is expected that all parents/carers book an appointment to discuss their child's academic and social/emotional progress.

Grade 1 and 2 interviews will be held on the second week of Term 3 and will be available to book early next term due to the swimming program.

Canteen Closed on Monday 19th June

Just a “heads up” for parents. The canteen will be closed on Monday 19th June . It will be open on Wednesday 21st and Friday 23rd June.

Prep Enrolments 2024 - Important

In the next couple of weeks, we will be organising our first round of offers for Preps in 2024. Please ensure you have lodged your child's enrolment form if you are in our zone or currently have a child who already attends Rollins.

Numeracy Leader Release

During Semester 2 Lachie Wright will be working in a number of different grades upskilling staff and working with students in Numeracy. We are currently finalising his replacement.

Term 2 Break

Reminder to parents that Term 2 finishes on Friday 23th June at 2.30pm. School returns for Term 3 on Monday 10th July.

I hope everyone has a really safe and enjoyable term holiday. Fingers crossed we get some sunshine!
