News from Year 4 and 5

What a fantatsic end to the Semester !

What a wonderful job our class did at running and presenting their work during our class 4/ 5 whole school assembly.  I was so proud of the dedication, confidence, and enthusiasm shown by all the children at our whole school assembly on Monday.  All of the students who volunteered to present at the assembly were so fantastic and confident, that I got to relax a little bit and sit back and enjoy watching more than talking. It made me realize how much they have grown since the start of the year.

Not only did these students share with you some of their hard work, but they (even though they were nervous) presented their work with confidence in front of the whole school. This is something that I even find nerve-wracking and daunting.  As well as all the positive feedback we received from teachers, the students themselves commented on how they were so scared and nervous but that once they began speaking they found it easy. Some of them got such a buzz from this experience that they commented as they walked up to their bags they want to speak every time we have assembly.

It was so great to see so many of you there supporting your children and for those of you who didn't get to see your children live, Rebecca Beveridge has put the videos and photos up on our school Facebook page.

Thank you again for all your support with your child's learning this Semester. We hope you have a fantastic two-week break and we look forward to seeing you all back on the 10th of July.

Have a safe and relaxing mid-semester holiday.

Take Care!
