News from One/Two
The holidays have come so soon! Lots of our families are going on their holidays to escape the Melbourne weather or embrace the snow! Wherever you are and whatever you are doing, have a lovely rest and enjoy the family time. Please send some photos of your holiday adventures so that we can share them on the first week back.
Thank you to all of you for coming to parent interviews. There were a few questions about what the children liked to do at playtime. Here are some great snapshots of their play this week.
Over the last few weeks, the children in the 1/ 2 class have enjoyed having Chelsea Wilson teach them, it will be sad to see her leave. We wish her all the very best as a future teacher and hope that she comes and visits us again. Chelsea has been busy teaching the children chance and data, adjectives, information reports, spelling, and handwriting. Here is some of the work they have produced while Chelsea has been in the classroom.
Thank you to everyone who has helped in the 1/ 2 classroom this semester. A massive shout out to Kyla Price and Amy Ireland as they have been the most amazing help on a Friday! In fact, a massive thank you to every one of you for reading and helping the children with their spelling words. Don't worry we will take a break from the readers over the holidays. Thank you for being such dedicated parents!
Remember…An apple for the teacher, is really nothing new. Except when you remember that parents are teachers too!
ENJOY your break!
Kindly,
Jacqui Tarquinio and Terry Foley
