We are half way through the term - how exciting!!
Each week in our assembly, the students leaders discuss with the students things that have been working well around the school, and things that we need to improve on. Here is a summary of our discussions from the past few weeks.
What is Working Well:
- Uniform has been improving across the school, however we need to continue to work on this so that ALL students are in uniform EVERYDAY. If you are out of uniform, please bring in a note explaining this. If you need new uniform items, visit our swap shop at the front office. It is great to see so many students making a real effort with this.
- We have started to line up underneath the COLA at the end of each playtime. This means students are not all rushing up on the concrete to the toilets and class. This has been working very well because our Year 6 leaders can monitor that all students are washing their hands correctly, and teachers can safely guide students inside.
- The sportsmanship on the playground is also improving. Our primary students have been helping out younger students during playtime to ensure that their games are safe and fair for everyone.
Even Better If:
- We need to work on controlling our kicks in all sports as we are losing balls over the fence everyday. This means that there are less balls, and less games to play. Please make sure you carefully aim and think about your kicks when playing.
- We are trying to keep our bag rack areas neat and tidy. Please make sure your belongings are inside your zipped bag, so that they don't get lost or forgotten.
- Remember that any toys you bring to school, must fit inside your pocket. Special or important belongings should not be brought to school, in case they are damaged or lost.
