Dental Health NSW

Over 40 students attended the Dental Van last week.  This is a wonderful service and will be available to us again in 2021.

Life Education Van

This week on Wednesday and Thursday the students will visit Healthy Harold in the Life Ed Van.  We are pleased that this activity is still able to go ahead and we thank the Quirindi CWA for funding the service again this year.

Father's Day Stall

Our annual Father's Day Stall will take place on Friday the 4th of September in the library. Payments of $9.00 can be made through the Qkr App.  Please ensure all payments are made by 3.30pm, Thursday the 3rd of September to allow for processing before Friday.

School Fees

A gentle reminder in these difficult times, that all fees are due by Friday the 11th of September, 2020.

Visitor reminder

Please remember to sign in at the office when coming into the school for any reason. Students collected early need to be signed out however, we will collect them from the classrooms for you.  Afternoon pickup parents/carers need to wait outside the gate for the teachers to formally dismiss the students.

Working With Children Check (WWCC)

Even though we are not able to have volunteers on site at this time, it is a good opportunity for everyone who would like to help at school, to catch up on supplying their Working With Children Check details.

If you need help obtaining this documentation, Mrs Marnie Jamieson mentioned at the last PT&F Meeting that she will be able to help you if you call into the Service NSW office where she works.  We thank Marnie for this kind offer.

If you are not sure if we have your current details, please call or email the front office and we will check for you. If you know that we don't have yours, please send in a copy of your WWCC to the office, along with your date of birth and we will verify it from our end.

Absentees

Compass needs to be used to explain all absences for your children, within 7 days of the absence. After this time they automatically roll over into the 'unexplained' category and can not be changed.

Drink Bottles

Please send a water bottle in with your child each day as they are not able to use the bubblers through this COVID time.

Nut Policy

Please remember we are a nut free school so students are not able to have products like Nutella and Peanut butter in their food items.
