Today we celebrated Sherrin Day with our annual Spring Carnival.  Our winners of Fashions on the Field were:

The hotly contested Myers' Cup and Pollack’s Plate were run at lunchtime in front of a swanky crowd.  In a race known for its organised chaos there was a balk at the gate, an early lead from a wide barrier draw followed by a settled midfield.  

The closing straight saw a shift in momentum and the long odds of Flying Purple People Eater made for a climactic finish where Spruce Caboose pipped Goldeneye at the post by a margin that demanded nothing less than an unbiased photo finish review.

Congratulations to Isabelle Cunningham and Claudia Hoogvelt winners of the Myers' Cup and Marcus Blair and Ethan Pitkin winners of Pollack’s Plate for 2020.  Congratulations to the Sherrin House community on a fantastic day.
