Academic Care and Wellbeing - Students

This week we welcomed back our Year 12 students following their trial HSC exams.  We congratulate them on getting through this first hurdle of the HSC with such positivity and energy.  May it be sustained over the next few weeks as you edge closer to finishing your schooling here at Mater Dei College.

Also this week, Year 12 students and parents are being asked to fill in an Exit Survey for the College.  We use this valuable feedback to modify and improve our practice and look forward to your responses. This survey is facilitated by Michael Elphick and Associates and has been emailed to parents.

On Thursday the SRC team were out and about for RUOK? Day striking up conversations and handing out lollies.

SOCIAL MEDIA, DIGITAL AND NETWORK ACCESS AT MATER DEI

At Mater Dei Catholic College we support the rights of all members of the school community to be provided with and engage in a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment. This extends to the use of digital tools and is underpinned by our expectation of safe and responsible behaviour of all members of the school community.

The College does not utilise social media for learning and accordingly, the College network does not permit access on the school network to social media sites. If your child has their own access data enabled devices, please ensure that your child understands and knows about their personal responsibility to use this data responsibly and legally. This includes those student who are sharing data.

Please see below policy regarding Parent/Carer Guidelines: Using Technology Responsibly to Access Social Media for more information.
