Transition and Pathways

NSW POLICE FORCE PATHWAYS

To join the NSW Police force students must first come through Charles Sturt University and undertake the University Certificate in Workforce Essentials. Completion of this program will put the student on a waiting list and depending on their grades this may make them eligible to apply for the Associate Degree in Policing Practice and ultimately join the Police Force.

Charles Sturt and the NSW Police Force are hosting a free information session for students who are interested in a career as an NSW Police Officer.

On Tuesday 22 September from 7.00pm - 8.30pm, the free Zoom webinar will discuss everything students need to know - including the University Certificate in Workforce Essentials, pathway options to become a Police Officer and what it's like to serve their community. Students will also have the opportunity to ask questions and to hear from Police Officers who have actually gone through the recruitment experience.

Year 10, 11 and 12 students, and their parents are invited to book a spot for this session.
